Yorkshire Festival are looking to support around 6-8 Community Commissions across the county, designed to:
- Create memorable arts experiences
- Display strong artistic quality, ambition and engagement
- Facilitate community-centred arts activity which responds to the Yorkshire Festival
Projects will receive online and printed marketing and will be able to use the Yorkshire Festival identity.
Artworks and arts activity must take place in Yorkshire and can be proposed a specific site or a number of locations.
Projects must have a manifestation during the Yorkshire Festival dates 16 June – 3 July but can include elements that occur outside these dates
Yorkshire based arts organisations, artists and members of the creative industries with a proven track record in delivering high quality, high impact cultural and creative activity who can demonstrate appropriate capacity and resources to deliver artistic excellence and public benefit.

The deadline for proposals for Community Commissions is 5pm on Monday December 14 2015 – by email only.
Awards of up to £10,000. Proposals must have at least 50% match funding in place. Up to half of match funding can be in kind. The funding can be used as match for Grants for The Arts applications.
