City Connect Cycles Scheme – Free Bicycle Offer

Would you like a free bike to help you find work or access training?  If you live in the West Yorkshire Combined Authority area (WYCA – Leeds, Bradford, Kirklees, Wakefield and Calderdale) and are receiving support identified below, you may be eligible to gain access to a bike as part of the City Connect Cycles Scheme.

  • On Jobseeker’s Allowance
  • Employment and Support Allowance
  • On Working Tax Credits (inclusive of zero-hour contracts)
  • Universal Credit

Or if you are:

  • In the first 12 weeks of work.
  • Enrolled in an apprenticeship scheme
  • Undertaking an apprenticeship

All they ask is that you complete three cycle skills training sessions and then the bike will be yours.
