NHS England have extended this funding proposal until Wednesday 22nd April at 12pm. Support for Voluntary Sector Sexual Violence Support Services – Grant Form
Covid-19 has changed the way many services work in order to keep staff and victims safe. The national measures announced to delay the spread of the outbreak are inevitably having a significant impact on those that deliver support services for victims and survivors of sexual assault and abuse.
Furthermore, there is also likely to be a surge in victims and survivors coming forward some 3 – 6 months after the cessation of social distancing.
NHS England are asking for voluntary sector organisations to complete the form linked at the top of the page to bid for non-recurrent funding to support the new ways of working during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The amount available is up to £4,000 and will be paid through the existing contracts with the Police and Crime Commissioner. The funding will include expenses for mobile phones, laptops, social media communications, volunteer training/expenses.
