How to refer to Calderdale Open Minds Partnership (CAMHS)

The Open Minds Partnership, First Point of Contact referral flowchart is designed to give potential referrers guidance on referring to CAMHS. It provides an overview of how to make a referral, and what the possible outcomes of a referral might be. If you are unsure whether to make a referral or need some advice regarding supporting the mental health of a child or young person please telephone the First Point of Contact on 01422 300001.

Positivitree of Workforce Values, Behaviours and Skills

Members of the young people’s Tough Times Reference Group attended a regional Stairways meeting earlier this year. At the meeting the group of young people created a ‘Positivitree’ sharing their thoughts and opinions on what they feel would make a good workforce in all mental health services. The Positivitree has been circulated to help form a consistent approach amongst mental health care services across the region. For an electronic copy of the poster please contact Joanna Marshall on Joanna.marshall@calderdale.gov.uk
