2015 Yorkshire CSE Conference

The 2015 Yorkshire CSE Conference will take place on Wednesday 18th February 2015 from 9.30am to 5pm. Registration will commence from 9am.

The cost to attend the conference is £80 per delegate – which has remained the same for a number of years.

Guest speakers will be addressing various aspects of CSE nationally and include:

Dr Caroline Paskell and Dr Ella Cockbain – NatCen and UCL (University of College London)
Boys/Young Men & Sexual Exploitation: Findings from Recent UK Research

CSE Awareness Raising Play seen by over 150,000 Young People around the UK

Tong School, Bradford will be performing a short play highlighting child sexual exploitation


Nine workshops will be delivered by CSE specialists throughout the day and delegates will have the opportunity to attend two of these one hour workshops which will cover the following:

– Supporting victims in court

– The benefits of peer mentoring

– Preventative work in primary and secondary schools

– The impact of porn

– Working with families

– Findings from recent research regarding male CSE

– Youth participation

– Multi-agency working
