As we mark the centenary of the start of the ‘Great War’, this event asks how we can best engage young people with the events of 100 years ago, and how do we go beyond remembrance to explore the war’s global impact and legacy?
With nine workshops led by experienced teachers and speakers from the Imperial War Museum, Hull University and regional museum services, you will:
Thanks to funding from Arts Council England, they are able to offer this event at a rate of £25 per person or £20 each for two or more people from the same organisation who book at the same time.
There are 10 free places for trainee teachers and 10 free places for heritage sector volunteers, allocated on a first come first served basis
