For the 2017 Dementia Awareness Week (14th-20th May), Alzheimer’s Society is asking everyone across England, Wales and Northern Ireland to unite against dementia. To tie in with the Awareness Week, there will be a Dementia Awareness Fun Day in Calderdale.
The Fun Day will include:
- Information and advice
- Climbing wall
- Fun photo booth
- Pets as therapy dogs
- Fire engine
- Tristan Dance Studios
- Annapurna Indian Dancing
- Beech Hill School poems & dance performances
- All Souls’ Amateur Operatic Society
- The Alzheimer’s Society’s very own Singing for the Brain groups joining together to perform some favourites
- Lots of information and advice from a variety of local and national organisations.
