Crimestoppers and West Yorkshire Police Child Sexual Exploitation Perpetrator Conference

March 18, 2016

Crimestoppers, in partnership with West Yorkshire police and other agencies, are holding a conference about understanding Child Sexual Exploitation Perpetrator behaviour.

Crimestoppers is a charity supported by various organisations, volunteers and individuals across the region. They have been involved in many campaigns across the West Yorkshire force area, raising the profile of Crimestoppers and how it provides a way for people to report information about crime anonymously.

The event will host a range of speakers who are local, national, and international experts in the area of CSE perpetrators. Speakers will include Dr Graham Hill, consultant criminologist; PCC Mark Burns-Williamson; as well as others from Police, Probation, Council, and third sector organisations including the Lucy Faithful Foundation.

You will also get the opportunity to view the associated documentary prior to it being aired on Made in Leeds TV.

They are working with a range of partners to help identify indicators and behaviours of the perpetrators of CSE, with a view to help prevent victims of crime. Their intent with this conference is to draw together professionals from across West Yorkshire, to understand these behaviours more, share good practice and work together to prevent victims of crime.

Please email gemma.wilson@crimestoppers-uk.org for a booking form.
