Please note that the date of the Early Childhood Matters: Sector Led Quality Improvement – Innovative Next Steps Conference has been moved from Wednesday 11 March to Tuesday 10 March due to important and unavoidable Parliamentary business on 11 March that a number of key speakers have now been invited to take part in.
4Children are pleased to announce that along with the original speakers, they have also secured further high profile speakers for the event.
This conference will focus on Sustained Shared Thinking and Emotional Well-being (SSTEW), which is an exciting new scale which considers practice that supports children in developing skills in sustained shared thinking and emotional well-being, as well as developing strong relationships, effective communication and aspects of self regulation. It is designed to be used for research, self-evaluation and improvement, audit and regulation by the sector – for the sector.
The conference will provide you with the opportunity to discuss the scale with expert practitioners and academics involved in the SEED Project which is currently updating evidence from EPPE and is a major new longitudinal study following over 5000 two-year-olds to the end of Key Stage 1.
