Over the forthcoming years, the ESIF (European Structural and Investment Funds) programme in the Leeds City Region will invest over £338 million, in line with the priorities of the City Region’s ESIF strategy, in programmes and projects benefitting local businesses and communities. In the Leeds City Region, a decision has been made to take up Opt-in offers from the Skills Funding Agency (SFA) and the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and these Opt-ins will form key parts of the Employment and Skills elements of the ESIF programme, using the European Social Fund (ESF).
The first Tender Specifications from these Opt-ins are expected to be launched in September 2015.
The event will include presentations from the Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership, the Skills Funding Agency and the Department for Work and Pensions with the latest information and opportunities to ask questions on how funding can be applied for from the first programme areas for which tenders will be published.
