IWD2020 Celebration at Square Chapel

‘Many Voices’ – Bringing together an amazing group of women and girls to show how we can better work together to increase bonds of friendship, trust and understanding across all our communities.

verd de gris and Square Chapel have been working on a creative programme with women living in Calderdale. They would like to invite you to celebrate some of the wonderful work that’s been created on the project so far.

Through poetry, song and conversation, the event will feature the words, voices and expressions of attendees to their creative projects:

• ONE VOICE – a creative steering group made up of a wonderfully diverse mix of women.
• BEHIND THE MASK – a well-being programme that gives women a platform to talk openly about factors impacting on their quality of life.
• WE ARE TOGETHER – an intercultural project which uses the theme of ‘friendship’ to give rise to beautiful stories and thoughts from a group of girls from two of our local primary schools.
• 51st PELLON SCOUTS – working with artists Natalie Davies and Lydia Murray, they’ve been using different drama techniques to explore their creative side.
