Dr Phillip Holdich is a senior lecturer, based within the university’s Division of Podiatry and Clinical Sciences. His research portfolio and published work includes how healthcare professionals communicate risk to their patients.
Dr Holdich firmly believes the difference in healthcare professional and patient perceptions of risk offers potential learning opportunities in other settings, including successful application of workplace behavioural safety programmes.
A question and answer session will follow the presentation.
There will be opportunity to discuss the group’s programme for 2016 and the committee welcomes any suggested topics.
There are a limited number of parking places available on campus, these will be allocated on a first come first served basis. If you do require a space you will need to request by email hands@hud.ac.uk so they can arrange the necessary permits. Otherwise there are pay and display car parks located near to the University.
