Modern Day Slavery – Understanding the Risk to Child Victims

The aim of the event is to draw upon recent West Yorkshire operations and learn together how we can improve our responses to identify and protect child victims of Modern Day Slavery.

Opening address by: Mark Burns-Williamson, West Yorkshire Police & Crime Commissioner.

Speakers from – Hope for Justice, Leeds Children Social Work Service, West
Yorkshire Police, Wakefield & District Safeguarding Children Board.

Target Audience: This session will be of particular interest to LSCB Board members,
strategic leads, practitioners and managers from all agencies who work with children and
families.
