Led by a practitioner from CAMHS, this session will focus on a young person who was 7 when referred to the service for anger issues and violence against his main carer. The child was disengaging from education and struggled to remain in lessons.
At the time, he was being supported as a ‘Child in Need’.
The CAMHS worker will explore the level of anxiety felt by the professionals involved working with this young person, their increasing lack of confidence in their own abilities, feeling ‘stuck’ and struggling to effect change with the young person.
This session is interactive and encourages learning by sharing experiences and finding more about the day to day roles and responsibilities of the agencies involved.
