The day is a follow up of the workshop facilitated by Mike Hand from NWG Network held at the Regional Youth Work Conference on 14th November at Huddersfield University, it will provide the opportunity for Managers and Front Line Staff to exchange their experiences, share good practice and begin the process of addressing regional issues of cross-border collaboration and intelligence sharing. It is aimed at professionals from every department and organisation responsible for, or providing services to those affected by Child Sexual Exploitation.
The workshop seeks to share good practice within the region, identify barriers to exchanging information, and ways in which current incidents can be reduced. Projects that work with CSE, will be given the opportunity to share their work in five minute presentations at the beginning of the day. These presentations will be gathered together as a record of the innovative and positive work which is happening across the region.
Free tea and coffee will be provided throughout the day. In order to keep costs low, you will need to bring your own lunch.
