Food and Support Drop-In Update

There is a need for tinned meats, pasta and curry sauces, tinned rice pudding, washing up liquid, washing powder, toothpaste and shower gels. They also need towels and importantly tin openers.

Our guests also love to read and we are usually short of books suitable for men and for people who want to know more about Christianity and Jesus. Time to look on your bookshelves to make room for those Christmas presents.

Full donations list: tinned meat; corned beef/ham/tuna etc., Cup a Soup, toilet rolls, tinned pies e.g. Fray Bentos, breakfast cereals, deodorant, tinned meals – Irish stew etc., shampoo, tinned rice pudding, shower gel, tinned soup, tinned puddings, sanitary towels, baked beans, tinned fruit, washing up liquid, tinned potatoes, washing powder, tinned vegetables (peas/carrots/sweetcorn etc.), coffee, curry sauce/pasta sauce, sugar, complete cat food, instant mash potato, fruit squashes, instant noodles/pot noodles etc., biscuits/crackers/cakes, individually wrapped sweets, meat paste/peanut butter & other sandwich fillers, instant custard, “bags for life” bags, jam/marmalade/lemon curd/chocolate spread, UHT milk, can openers, potato peelers, savoury bakes for the refreshments on Saturdays – before 9am if possible, men’s socks, gloves, double bedding, large towels and trainers.

The Drop-In is open for deliveries on Thursday and Saturday Mornings between 8.30am and 12 noon. They also need volunteers on these days – regularly or occasionally – and they also need people to help clean up after the doors close at 11.45am on Saturdays.
