Achieving Best Outcomes for Adults at Risk – This course includes Learning from local SARs; Safeguarding principles including ‘Making Safeguarding Personal’; Information sharing and consent; MCA/DoLS principles; Identifying risks and need and making a safeguarding referral; Assessment and analysis; Working collaboratively within and across services and sectors; Resolving professional disagreements. Safeguarding Children & Young People Identifying & Responding to Risk & Unmet Need – Aimed at people who are new to Calderdale or new to safeguarding.

Safeguarding Supervision using the Multi-Agency Supervision Framework – This course will equip new supervisors with the Skills, Knowledge and Understanding to effectively supervise safeguarding practice with the view to improving outcomes for service users. Venue: Orange Box, Halifax
Practitioners Tools and Good Practice Workshop – Find out about tools and good practice guides produced by the CSCB and how they can be used to facilitate assessment and gather evidence of change. Venue: Princess Buildings, Halifax
