In early 2018, the CSA Centre conducted a survey with the aim of building an understanding of the current research landscape related to CSA, including child sexual exploitation (CSE). This exercise also enables us to highlight gaps, such as a lack of focus on lesser-heard voices, and better prioritise future research activity.
The survey was repeated in mid-2019, and the findings from both surveys are presented in this report. The surveys were intended to provide an insight into the types and forms of research currently being undertaken within the field of CSA. Some of the key statistics can be found here.
