Demystifying Gift Aid

Gift Aid can be claimed on monetary donations made by an individual UK income taxpayer. It is an easy way to help your charity or community amateur sports club (CASC) maximise the value of donations you receive.
This session will provide an overview of Gift Aid and the Gift Aid Small Donations schemes, identifying the benefits to your organisation and help to answer any queries you may have.

Facebook for Beginners
Monday 21st October, 1pm-4pm
Venue: VAC Resource Centre, Halifax
Trainer: Emma Worsley, VAC
A specifically tailored beginners session for those who have never used Facebook before, or for those who may personally use Facebook but may have never set up and populated a business page on the social media platform.
The session will help you to create a Facebook business page, upload a profile picture, add contact information and explore the background administration of the page.

We will require payment in advance in order to secure booking.
Where booked attendees are unable to attend they can nominate a colleague to attend in their place.
Bookings are made online via the Forum website. Links to each course are included above.
Where booked attendees are unable to attend they must notify the VSI Alliance via email email@example.com or telephone 01422 438722 to notify of the cancellation.
Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
We operate a 7-day notice period to cancel a booking. The payment will not be refunded on failure to attend the course without at least 7 days’ notice.
We provide light refreshments (tea & coffee).
